Hey there! I’m Dylan Tuchon, a recently graduated marketing student from the University of Tampa, passionate fly designer, and lifelong saltwater angler. I’ve been hooked on sight-fishing snook, redfish, and tarpon since I was 15, and I create flies to give you that same thrill.

Southern Style Flies is a saltwater fishing brand rooted in time on the water. Founded by Capt. Dylan Tuchon, U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain, the brand is built around sight fishing, thoughtful design, and respect for the places that make this pursuit possible.

What started with designing flies to solve real on-the-water problems has grown into something bigger. Southern Style Fly Company represents a way of fishing, intentional, detail-driven, and shaped by experience.

From flies to guided trips, apparel, and accessories, everything we create reflects the life we live on the water. Inspired by redfish tailing in the grass, snook in the mangroves, and early mornings on a poling skiff, we don’t just make products, we live the lifestyle they’re made for.
