Hey there! I’m Dylan Tuchon — a recently graduated marketing student from the University of Tampa and passionate fly designer and fisherman who’s been hooked on saltwater fly fishing since I was 15. There’s nothing like sight-fishing snook, redfish, and tarpon, and I’m driven to create flies that help you experience that same thrill.
Southern Style Flies was born in the backwaters and built on tradition. Every fly is tied by hand using premium, natural materials — many harvested and tanned by our team. Inspired by redfish tailing in the grass, snook in the mangroves, and early mornings on a poling skiff, we don’t just tie flies — we live the life they’re made for.
